Ever have those days when the creative juices just aren't flowing? Well, have no fear because with Close To My Heart products you can kick-start your creativity just by finding great blogs like Jeanette Lynton or Lisa Stenz or Allisa Chilton and you'll soon be well on your way to creating some works of art!
For today's post, I got my creative ideas directly from a post from Jeanette Lyntons' spotlight on art ideas. I just love the new Cricut Artiste cartridge and when I saw this idea on her blog, I knew I had to recreate the same look for myself.
Here it is using the key "M" on the Artiste cartridge. The ticket was cut at 3" on colonial white cardstock, the words "Movie" and "Night" were cut at 3/4" on one of the invites and 1" on the other. The envelope was CTMH Whisper cardstock. I used several different stamp sets for the dividers but anything will work.
The "You're Invited" words were cut using the Birthday Boy key on the Artiste cartridge. The options are so vast that you won't run out of ideas with this cartridge!
The pretty whisper-inked flourish on this image was from the set "Picture Perfect" and the stars were also cut with using one of the functions on the "M" key.
Remember you don't have to have the exact stamp set just jazz it up with what sets you have and it will be perfect!
Now the only thing left is to plan a Movie Night with my spouse or another couple and use this adorable creation!
I hope this helps get you in the creative mood. Thanks for stopping by!
